Another ex- member of Pussy Galore, Jon Spencer is also in Boss Hog with Christina Martinez, also of Pussy Galore. The Blues Explosion is a trio of Spencer, Judah Bauer and Russell Simins. Heavy Blues Rock with Spencer invoking Elvis on some of their earlier releases of which I had several on cassette. This CD is number six from 1998. I also have a CD called Acme Extra with B-sides and remixes of songs on this CD. It’s an OK recording, not crazy about it. Most songs are in the two to four minute range.
