Solex is Dutch artist Elizabeth Esselink, this is her second release from 1999. This is a strange mix of Punk, Jazz, New Wave, Broadway, Electronic and Experimental. She puts together samples of records from her record store and adds lyrics which are more like stories. Lyrics are included in the booklet but with her accented voice it’s hard to follow. The music can drastically change two or three times in one song. “Another Tune Like Not Fade Away” has some heavy organ that I like. Most other songs are a little too weird.
