A duo of Bob Bruno and Bethany Cosentino that formed in L.A. in 2009. Their fourth from 2020 and possibly their last as Cosentino went solo after this recording. This is a record I bought at Barnes & Noble that was 50% off a couple years ago. Might have played side one once, I don’t recognize any of these songs today. It’s some kind of Pop, Indie Pop, Dream Pop, Synth Pop, Power Pop or Light Rock (not sure if that’s a genre) but it’s pleasant enough just not too memorable. All but one of the 11 songs are in the 3 minute range. This is one I will be trading in. Cosentino had earlier been in a group called Pocahaunted with Amanda Brown. Bruno guested on one of their records. That band looks more interesting but I have never seen anything by them.
