This originally came out in 2005. The record I have is a limited edition of 7500 called the Clutch Collectors Series and has the embossed seal on the cover. Each band member picked their favorite record and released in in a remastered form with different artwork on the cover. This was the second in the series. This two record set also comes with a signed insert of the cover and a 7″ record with two more songs not on the original release. This was pretty pricey (around $50) but I used my store credit. About once a year I take a crate of records to Vertigo in West Reading and get about $350 to $400 credit. Although this was released in 2022 I’m sure it was not until 2024 that I saw this in the record store and got it. Easily my favorite studio album from them but I’ve only heard five of their 13 released. More great Stoner Rock. Side one has been played five or six times with great songs, my favorites being “The Incomparable Mr. Flannery”, “Burning Beard”, “Mice And Gods”, “Never Be Moved”, “10001110101” and the short instrumental “Small Upsetters”. Wasn’t too familiar with side two but it also sounded good especially the two blues covers “Gravel Road” and “Who’s Talking?” on side 4. The two on the 7″ “What Would A Wookie Do?” and “Bottom’s Up Socrates” were also very good. The records are on gold and blue vinyl and sound very good.
