This is a live album I bought shortly after buying yesterday’s record (probably early 2022). I think I played record one when I bought it. These tracks were recorded at 4 different venues in 2007 and 2008. The CD was released in 2008 and this vinyl version came out in 2016 with 4 tracks not on the CD. Side one starts with “You Can’t Stop Progress>Power Player”, one that sticks in my head, recorded in Colorado. The next three tracks were recorded at Mr. Smalls, near Pittsburg, a venue where I saw Donna The Buffalo play. “The Dragon Fly” is a great song and my favorite on the record. Side two was recorded in New Jersey and has two songs from their second album “Texan Book Of The Dead” and “Animal Farm”. Record 2 I had not heard before and has three more from the concert at Mr. Smalls. “The Yeti” has a drum solo. Side 4 was recorded in Australia and has “10001110101” from Robot Hive/Exodus and was one of my favorite Clutch songs when I heard it for the first time on that record that I will listen to on Wednesday. “Electric Worry” is another good one on that side. The last song “One Eye Dollar” is from the Jam Room record that I bought after this one but didn’t like that much that is in my trade-in pile along with Psychic Warfare. I like this record with lots of heavy riffs and Psychedelic guitar solos. Singer Neil Fallon does some yelling ( but not screaming) and is not as bad as some singers in the Stoner Rock/Metal genre.
