Their third album and one I bought in 1974. It has the embossed gatefold cover. A really good record and easily their best. I always thought this was an answer to Yes’s Fragile album. Tim Bachman left at thjis time and was replaced by Blair Thornton as their second guitarist. There are two charting singles from this album. “Roll On Down The Highway” which reached number 14 and the massive hit “You Aint Seen Nothing Yet” which reached number 1 in November of ’74. Those two singles are on side one as well as the title track, “Rock Is My Life And This Is My Song” and an instrumental “Free Wheelin'”. The four songs on side two are equally as good with “Blue Moanin'” a great blues and “Second Hand” with some great slide guitar. A truly Classic Rock album that still sounds great today. I used to have their first record and the one that came out after this, Four Wheel Drive, but they were both sold. I do have a live record of theirs recorded in the 80’s which I might get to if there is enough time.
