The 9th album from this Canadian Band. One of my favorite bands I have 6 of their records and 2 CDs missing only 2014s Brill Bruisers. This is their latest album and came out in 2023. Usually 7 or 8 members, A.C. Newman, Todd Fancey, John Collins and Neko Case have been there since the beginning. Kathryn Calder joined in 2006. Other members have come and gone including Dan Bejar who has his own band Destroyer and co-wrote one song on here with Newman. I don’t remember if I have ever listened to this one yet. After putting it on this sounds like one of their best. More good Indie and Power Pop songs with lots of hooks and good instrumentation. Many of these songs remind me of Together, my favorite record of theirs. Really liked “Last And Beautiful” and that will go on my playlist and maybe some more when I listen to it again.
