This prolific band from Australia is a band whose records I started seeing in stores about ten years ago. I never paid much attention to them, mostly because of their stupid name. In 2022 I did check this record out (their 21st release) and saw 7 songs on two records and figured there would be some good long jams on it. Boy was I right! These 7 songs ranging from 6 and a half minutes to 13 and a half are filled with great jamming. You couldn’t call them a Jam Band or Progressive pr Psychedelic or even a Funk/Reggae band because these songs have elements of all these genres. Some lyrics seem like random words but the music is always changing never repetitive or boring. Many of these songs feature a flute, always a plus for me. A really great record and one I have put on three or four times since buying it in 2022 just after I had listened to all the K’s in my collection. Of course after loving this record I had to buy more so I bought their next record, two older ones and a Live At Levitation record. I will fit some of them in before the end of the year.
