Always political, the full title of this record is No Title As Of 13 February 2024 28,340 Dead, referring to Palestinians. Keeping my politics out of this I won’t say anything else. At least this pressing is better than their last. There are six songs on this two record set with a seventh untitled bonus track on the vinyl edition. These all have the usual GYBE Post-Rock sound starting out quiet and slow while building to a crescendo with multiple guitars. These eight musicians look to be the same as played on the last record with three guitarists, two bassists, two drummers and a violinist. There is no soloing as the music is played as an ensemble. All six tracks are good, interesting music. The bonus track is a nice quiet Ambient or new Age piece. I do have three of their older CDs which for some reason I didn’t listen to when I was doing my CDs. Looking forward to their next release.
