The ninth album from this Cincinnati band. They broke up in 2001 with Greg Dulli working in The Twilight Singers and The Gutter Twins with Mark Lanegan. They got back together around 2012 and put out three more records with this being the third from 2022. I have the two earlier ones that I listened to at the start of this project but that was before my blog so I don’t know how I felt about them, but I think that I thought they were just OK. Not the case with this one. I did play the first side when I bought it and thought it sounded good. This is a Barnes & Noble exclusive on clear vinyl with a small poster of the cover singed by Greg Dulli. Still with John Curley there are a host of musicians listed as contributors. I guess mt two favorites are on side one “Catch A Colt” and “Jyja” but all the others are good to. Their best album since Gentlemen.
