I’ve decided to forego the alphabetical format this time and just play what I felt like. This is a one-off side project from Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant of Echo and the Bunnymen. Originally released in 1995 on CD and cassette, I bought the cassette at that time. This vinyl edition was released on Record Store Day 2024. The music could be called Alternative, it definitely has a harder edge than Echo and the Bunnymen. I’m sure I played the cassette at least once. All 11 tracks are good. “Zephyr” is the one I put on my mix tape made in ’95 of songs from that year. It’s the obvious standout on side one. Two on side two “Too Far Gone” and “Mirrorball” were also familiar, probablt put them on one of my tapes as well ( I have over 200 of them). Besides this record they released 5 singles before re-forming The Bunnymen in 1996.
