A band from California, this is Celtic Rock and like The Waterboys the standard guitar, bass , drums and keyboards are augmented by fiddle, pipe and whistle. The first track “Bodhran” is an instrumental, a typical sounding Jig. The rest are more Folk sounding, mostly acoustic. They do cover The Waterboys “Fisherman’s Blues” but there’s really not much here exceptional after listening to it for the first time.
