Recorded for the Austin City Limits TV program in 2003. Composed of mostly Soul and Blues covers there are also four written by Tedeschi. With a four piece band she does some nice soloing on the instrumental “Hampnotized” which also features a Hammond organ solo, and “Lost Lover Blues” a song from the 50’s. “Gonna Move” is one I have heard on the radio. My two favorites are ones with Susan singing and backed by violin, organ and percussion on covers of “Don’t Think Twice It’s All Right” and John Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery” Very nice. She married Derek Trucks in 2001 when he was still a member of the Allman Brothers Band. Later she joined the Derek Trucks band renaming it The Tedeschi Trucks Band who I have seen several times.
