The Tea Party-The Edges Of Twilight

Their third release from 1995. I’m not as familiar with this CD as I was with their second and I don’t like it as much. Still with the Led Zeppelin sound and their usual array of Indian and Middle Eastern ethnic instruments this CD is generally a little more mellow than Splendor Solis. There are two that will go on my playlist, the opener “Fire In The Head” with some heavy riffing and “Drawing Down The Moon” another Blues influenced song. English Folk hero Roy Harper has some spoken word on a hidden track. After a while Jeff Martin’s slow and low Jim Morrison like vocals all start to sound the same. They broke up in 2005 but reunited to put out a new release ten years after their last from 2004.
