Another CD bought knowing nothing about the band and one I have never listened to yet. Tangle Edge is a trio from Norway formed in the early 80’s. This is their debut from 1989. This is a 2008 reissue of a ’94 remix with added percussion. This is Psychedelic music as you might guess from the cover. Also some Progressive elements and Raga Rock on “A Secret Inside Clopedia” which sounds a bit like something by Amon Dull II. With lots of acoustic and electric guitars plus keyboards and ethnic percussion most tracks are not too long (under 5 minutes) except for the 15 minute closer “Solorgy”. Again with acoustic and electric guitars , tablas and soothing water sounds and ending with some excellent guitar soloing sounding like Steve Howe. The music is all very trippy. Still making music but hard to find in the U.S.
