Another CD I bought never having heard of them and one I have never listened to yet. I was not even sure which was the bands name and which the title of the CD. They are a four piece from Portland Oregon with most vocals by Megan Pickerel. In an Alternative, Shoegaze or Psychedelic style the sound is lush with Megan’s whispered vocals bringing to mind Mazzy Star. The songs are slow with a darker sound than The Spinanes, another similar sounding band from Portland I listened to earlier this month. “Cicadas” is the one that stuck out to me but it all sounded good. They only put out two releases, this is the second from 1997.
