I have their first two records and had their third and a cassette of their fourth but they were sold. This CD is ten years removed from those 80’s albums. Simply Red is now a Mick Hucknall solo project with guest musicians. I didn’t like this as much as their earlier releases. A little too much electronics and dance sound. The song I liked best was “Aint That A Lot Of Love” a 60’s soul cover. The others aren’t bad but I miss their earlier more soulful sound.
