This seems to be just Martin Atkins on drums and programming with different female vocalists and one or to others on bass or scratching. This is a two disc release. The first disc is composed of mid length tracks ranging from Industrial to Techno to dance music. Some of the better ones are “Kiss King” with some sitar, “Bring Unto Me” with vocals from Astrid Welz. “Nutopia” with vocals from Meg Lee Chin and “Burundi” with didgeridoo and tribal rhythms. Atkins drumming is inventive throughout. The second disc has three tracks, the 50 minute “The Howler (An English Breakfast)” split into two parts with the 24 minute “Train” between them. “Train” is a typical Ambient, Techno, and Industrial piece which I thought was pretty good. “The Howler” is narrated by Genesis P. Orridge who was in Industrial pioneers Throbbing Gristle. Over a repetitive six note bass line and some drums Orridge tells some kind of story with lots of other voices and noises in the background. It’s hard to listen to and I skipped through most of it.
