A really cool recording of their performance at the Sunrise Festival in England in 2007. One 72 minute CD and a DVD of the show is included in this heavy cardboard package with photos and commentary about the festival by Ed Wynne. This is a reunion of sorts as Joie Hinton and Merv Pepler left Ozric Tentacles in the mid 90’s to form Eat Static. Since Eat Static was also playing at the festival they joined Ed and his wife Brandi for this set. And a great set it was playing songs from the early 90’s. Ed lays down some great Psychedelic guitar solos with Joie’s keyboards with its weird sounds and the rhythm section of Merv and Brandi really cooking. Spacey and trippy. I will have to watch the DVD to get the experience of their light show.
