.O.Rang is Lee Harris and Paul Webb the drummer and bassist from Talk Talk. Together from ’92 to ’96 this is their final release after an LP and Ep from 1994. They play an assortment of instruments besides bass and drums including French Horn, accordian, acoustic guitar, violin, harmonica, synthesizers, sitar, didgeridoo, percussion and harmonium. Four of the tracks have vocals by Webb and are fairly straightforward Rock songs. The remaining tracks are instrumental although two have male and female voices. These 8 tracks range from New Age, World Music, Avant-Garde, Ambient Soundscapes or Experimental. They are all pretty interesting with lots of sounds packed into them. Another used CD I bought at the store in Exeter.
